Toasted whole sesame seeds can be used in a wide range of preparations: sauces, salads, cooked dishes, breads, confectionery and pastries. It is also ideal for making tahini (sesame purée) and gomasio (a condiment combining salt and sesame). Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
